We've all heard about it, on the news or from friends. Domestic violence is a huge problem in our country. Studies have shown that it is one of the leading causes of homelessness. While some experts say that it isn't happening as much as the media makes it seems, the fact that it happens at all should be enough to get people working towards stopping it.
Some say that because the reasons behind people's violent decisions are so complex it is hard to stop the problem altogether, but that doesn't mean there aren't certain steps people can take to help prevent it near them.
